Anawangin Cove, San Antonio Zambales





Another beautiful Creation of God. located at the first municipality of Zambales, this wonderful place where expplored by mountaineers. at first, there are no boats that can take you to the place. you must climb and trek the 3 to 4 hours hike. but now, in just couple of minutes,you can enjoy the place.


Ways to Travel

Land/Water Trip

From manila ride Victory Bus going to Iba Zambales, they have daily trips going there. Their terminals are located at Pasay City near MRT station, Manila in front of UST campus along EspaƱa blvd., and at Cubao Quezon City near
Aurora Blvd
ask the bus driver to drop you at San Antonio, Zambales. Ther you can ride a tricycle going to

From there you can choose your way to Anawangin Cove. You can hike but be sure you hire a guide and physical capability to hike because the terrain is not easy. You can ride a small boat good for four (4) passengers including the driver, be sure to ask for a life vest if you can’t swim.

If you miss the bus going to Iba, ride a bus going to Olongapo and from there you can ride a bus to San Antonio Zambales.

Accommodation:

No hotels and rooms for rent. Be sure to bring your tent. They only have cottages with table and chairs made of bamboo for eating purposes only. There you can rent a tent to the care taker. Maintenance fee will be collected upon arrival at the island. You can buy some grocery items at the caretakers hut like soft drinks, noodles, canned goods and purified water. They also have comfort rooms. They also have manual pumps for underground water. If you forget to bring cooking utensils, the caretaker can provide.
